The Government of Belarus has introduced restrictive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19
The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus has adopted Regulation No. 171 “On measures to prevent the import and spread of infection caused by coronavirus COVID-19”.
Under the Regulation anyone arriving in Belarus from COVID-19 infected countries for 14 calendar days from the date of arrival:
• must stay in self-isolation at home;
• cannot cross the State Border of the Republic of Belarus (before the expiration of the self-isolation period).

Exceptions apply to diplomats, drivers engaged in international trucking, aircraft crew members and inland watercraft crews, train crews, international railway transportation service locomotive crews, and foreigners transiting through Belarus to return to their place of residence.
Drivers performing transit trucking through Belarus must use only roads where drivers can stop (park) for rest, meals and refueling their vehicles according to a set list (“special roads”). These drivers must leave Belarus by using the shortest route and no later than the day following the day of arrival.
Exceptions apply to accidents (vehicle breakdowns), discharge and transshipment of cargo, replacement of a vehicle when provided for by the carriage agreement and specified in transport documents. In these cases, deviation from special roads is permitted. These operations should be carried out as quickly as possible.
