Poland: Five months to rebuild more than 4,500.00 metres of canals.
A project for renovation of sewers in the urban area of Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot is being co-financed with European Union funds as part of an Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme. The task is divided into three parts – the first and second will be carried out in Gdynia and the last in the neighbouring city of Reda. All works must use trenchless technology. The choice of contractors for particular tasks will be made in line with two criteria – price and guarantee period – but only 5 % of points will be allocated for the guarantee period.
