Collapse of Commercial Register in Bulgaria

Investors well advised to check entries once functionality is restored

Since August 10th 2018 the Commercial Register, an electronic base in Bulgaria, has not been working properly.

Initially, access to the Register was completely impossible.

Since August 15th 2018, it has again become possible to check data regarding companies, but it is still not clear when the remaining functions of the Commercial Register will be fully restored. For the time being, new entries and changes seem impossible.

Investors in Bulgarian companies might want to check related entries in the database for completeness and correctness.
