New Labour Code

The new Labour Code comes into force from 1 July 2017.

Two weeks ago the President of Lithuania confirmed the final amendments to the Code. This means that the content of the new Code is now fully clear. In turn, all employers must make appropriate changes to internal and external company documentation in terms of labour law issues. This includes changes to employment contracts, if the new Code so requires.

In order to help you properly prepare for the upcoming changes, we will be glad to discuss the new Labour Code and its developments to the extent that these are relevant for your business. We offer support in reviewing or amending your company’s employment-related internal and external documentation and will propose any necessary changes.

If you would like to familiarise yourself with the changes more deeply, we will be glad to organize an internal workshop designed specifically for your company. During the workshop we could introduce the relevant novelties of the new Labour Code and could discuss developments and their impact on your company together with representatives of your company.
