On the upcoming amendment to the criminal regulations (autumn 2024)

On November 13, 2024, the Government of the Czech Republic approved a draft amendment to the criminal regulations, i.e. the Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code, the Act on the Criminal Liability of Legal Entities, etc. One of the key topics of this amendment is the issue of punishment – types of punishments, their amounts, circumstances that should be taken into account when imposing punishments, etc. In addition, the draft amendment also brings a number of new features that should be of interest to both natural and legal entities doing business. We are therefore bringing you a selection of the most interesting ones.
